A Los Angeles film festival honored There Was To Be Peace with an award in the category "Best Short - Action".

There Was To Be Peace was officially selected by two US film festivals. The Silicon Beach Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Myrtle Beach Film Festival in South Carolina.
